What We Supply
Seating is usually the last thing specified on a c-store or travel centre build and the first thing that fails. The furniture is in service sixteen hours a day, gets wiped with sanitiser several times a shift, and takes impact from carts, bags and cleaning equipment. Residential-grade furniture in a commercial dining area typically needs replacing inside two years, which costs more than specifying correctly at the outset.
The first decision is booth versus free-standing tables, and it is a floor-area decision rather than an aesthetic one. Booths seat more people per square foot and fix the traffic pattern, which suits a narrow dining nook against a wall. Free-standing tables and chairs seat fewer per square foot but can be reconfigured, which matters where the same floor serves a morning coffee rush and an afternoon hot food programme. Most c-store dining areas end up with both: booths along the perimeter, tables in the centre.
On upholstery, the specification that matters is cleanability rather than appearance. Commercial vinyl handles repeated sanitiser contact where fabric will not, and seam placement determines whether spills sit in a joint or run off. Frame construction is the other half: welded steel outlasts bolted assembly under daily impact, and wall-mount booths remove the floor contact points where cleaning equipment does most of its damage.
We carry Waymar and Plymold. The practical difference is frame and upholstery systems rather than one being better built — Plymold is commonly specified where the equipment budget is tighter, Waymar where a particular finish or configuration is needed. Both are configurable single-sided, double-sided, wall-mount and freestanding. Tell us the dining area dimensions and target seat count and we will size the package against the floor plan rather than a catalogue.
Waymar Restaurant Booth Seating
Heavy-use restaurant booths with vinyl or fabric upholstery and steel frame construction, configurable single-sided, double-sided and wall-mount.
Waymar C-Store Booth Seating
Compact booth seating sized for convenience store dining nooks and food service pickup areas, with brand-matched upholstery options.
Why Commercial-Grade Seating Matters
Residential-style furniture in a c-store dining area looks tired within a year. Upholstery tears, frames wobble, foam collapses. The cost of constant replacement exceeds the upfront savings within 18 months.
Commercial seating is engineered differently — steel frames, reinforced upholstery, cleanable surfaces, and 10+ year service lives in high-traffic environments.
Standard Features
- Purpose-built for all-day commercial use — not residential-grade furniture dressed up
- Cleanable upholstery that handles food spills, sanitizer wipe-downs, and daily scrubbing
- Steel frame construction with 10+ year service life in high-traffic environments
- Configurable — single-sided, double-sided, wall-mount, freestanding, banquette
- Brand-matched color options to coordinate with store interior design
Integrated with the Full Store Buildout
Seating and fixtures are part of the larger c-store or travel center project. We coordinate seating specification with your food service design, overall store design, and equipment package. Colors, finishes, and layouts get coordinated so the dining area doesn't look bolted on as an afterthought.
